Keaton Vaughn Tracy

May 6, 1999 - Sep. 11, 2023

MISSOURI – Keaton Vaughn Tracy, age 24, of Missouri, passed away on Sept. 11, 2023, in Albion, Michigan.

Keaton was born in Rupert, Idaho, on May 6, 1999, to Jimmy D and Kryn Rasmussen Tracy.

Keaton was so full of life and love. He found joy and passion in writing his own music and spending time outdoors, he enjoyed: hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, golf, and gaming. He absolutely adored his little girl, Kora, his one true love and lived for the opportunity to chase her around and make her giggle. He had the uncanny ability to convince anyone that black was white. Keaton could make a long road trip short by talking the entire time and was a bank of random facts. Keaton loved deeply and with so much passion. He always gave his whole heart to the people he loved and often to people he hardly knew. He refused to fit into "the box" that the world wanted him to fit in, so he paved his own path and was unashamedly himself.

Keaton and his father, Jim had the opportunity to work alongside each other on multiple solar projects around the United States, where Keaton worked as a heavy equipment operator.

Though he is no longer here in physical form, we feel him in our hearts and see him everywhere in nature. We love you so very much Bud and can't wait for the day that we get to wrap our arms around you once again.

Keaton was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Bob Tracy; and Kelly J. Rasmussen.

He is survived by his daughter, Kora Lynn; his parents; his sister, Aubry Lynn (Tanner) Macaulay; his niece, Clarke Macaulay; his paternal grandparents, Paul and Carol Dooley; his maternal grandmothers, Marla Rasmussen; and Shirley (Kelly) Rasmussen; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who will all miss Keaton very much.

No formal service will be held. A private family service will be held at a later date.
