From Brent and Karla Harmon family:
Our family is so grateful for both David and Alice. As our sons reached their teenage years, they had need for work opportunities. It was an answer to prayers when David hired our sons on his farm. They still appreciate the way he blessed their lives and David became a lifetime hero for them. Alice too was a blessing to our family. As our families reunited at the funeral, our children commented that Alice and David are each so unique and gifted in different ways----yet they made an amazing TEAM together that has blessed so many around them. Together they passed down to their posterity a legacy of an exceptionally happy home life. Although David passed away, much to all our sorrow, there is more to our stories than meets the eye in this life. As Elder Cook out it so beautifully last conference-- "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot Heal. Thank you for your talks, testimonies, parables and beautiful music. We love all of you! Alice, we are so sorry for your loss. Words cannot describe the feelings that come in this situation. Thank goodness we have the gospel to lean on.
