Service Program

BURLEY - On Saturday, February 24, 2024, Justin Lee “Pangwin” Walker (Correa), a 35-year-old resident of Burley, passed away at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello. Justin was a father, son, and brother. He was surrounded by his children, family, and friends at the time of his passing.

Justin was born May 6, 1988, to Wendy Christine Walker and Armando Martinez Correa, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Although he was first born to Wendy, he was the first to call Armando, Dad. As with everything Justin did in life, he did it on his own time. He was a preemie weighing in at 4 lbs. 5 oz. He was so tiny that his first bed was a dresser drawer.

Justin graduated from Burley High School and entered the culinary arts program at the College of Southern Idaho. One of his passions was cooking and he loved trying new ways to add his touch to any dish he created.

Eventually, Justin became big brother to Jordin and Jasin and they would join him in all the wild escapades they could conjure up.

Justin met Sara Martinez in 2012 and they soon started their own family. They had three children, Allisyn, Addisyn, and Aidyn. Although Justin didn’t see himself as a father, there was nothing he was more proud of than his children.

He worked for his dad at Correa’s Pallets through the years. He helped with the manufacturing of pallets and as a forklift operator.

He enjoyed snowboarding, skateboarding, disc golf, gaming, grilling, and finding the hottest sauces around. He loved when his mom and dad set up camping and boating trips where he shared his love for the water with his kids.

Justin is survived by his children, Allisyn Walker, Addisyn Walker, and Aidyn Walker along with their mother, Sara Martinez; his parents, Armando and Wendy Correa; one brother, Jasin Armando (Carla) Correa; his maternal grandmother, Judith Erickson; his paternal grandfather, John Correa; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jordin John Correa; paternal grandmother, Consuelo Correa; maternal grandfather, Lloyd Lee Walker; maternal great-grandparents, Glen and Carrie Draper; his aunt and uncle, Marge and Dean Draper; an uncle, Lowell H. Walker; paternal great-grandmother, Juanita Ybarra; and great-grandfather, Earl Martinez.

The funeral will be held at noon Friday, March 1, at Mountain View Christian Center - Assembly of God, located at 317 Mountain View Lane, in Burley, with Pastor Josh Merchant officiating. Family and friends will be received at the church from 10 until 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Gem Memorial Gardens in Burley.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the medical team at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello who displayed such love, patience and compassion for both Justin and the family.
