From Tanya Buck :
Dear Linda was such a wonderful friend and dear neighbor for almost 40 years. When my darling husband died she was there for me in the middle of the night to comfort me. She stayed near me and watched over me when I had knee surgery. She was always a good listener when I needed to talk to someone. Dear sweet Linda say hello to my sweet heart for me.
From Ursula Byington :
To dear Linda’s family, I was surprised to hear about your loss. Linda was my Visiting teacher a few years ago and always so kind and positive. Loved her faith & determination. I was out of town watching grandchildren then had surgery. Wanted to come, but had granddaughter visiting. May the good Lord bless and comfort you, and know she’s doing great work up above.
From Earl and Marie Phippen:
We are so sorry. Linda leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and kindness. Our condolences to you all.
From Julie:
Dear Roe…So sorry you have to say bye to your sweet wife for awhile. Grateful we got to know you two! Doug and I send our love and heavens blessings to you. We sold the shop in June and I have tried multiple phone numbers to try and find you.
Love, Julie & Doug Ward
From Greg & Sue:
What a sweet tribute to a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. As most of us wish, after the chaff is blown away, kernels of kindness are left that reveal the true attributes of a goodly woman. She is a woman that is worthy of warm memories.
From Jody Lee:
I am so grateful for the warm welcomes and the acceptance I always felt when I walked through the door. There was always a place for me regardless of how many people were there. Thanks for being the neighborhood mom.
From Jorey:
Dear Esplins,
I can only offer my condolences, but with such an incredible woman I know you will remember the best parts of her life.
Linda was one of the best, she cared for so many without any guile. She saw what could be in so many people and encouraged them to be better. I know my life is better because I knew Linda and she taught me to be a better person.
From Joanne Weaver & Steve Weaver:
Ken, Dianne, Michael, Becky, Lyndsay & Ben, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom and grandma was a sweet lady. She was always kind and welcoming when I came to hang out at your house in Burley years ago. Sending our love.
From Carol (Buck) Garcia:
Oh my dear sweet Sister Esplin! I learned so much from her, she has been a bright spot in my life, and I know our family was blessed to move into her neighborhood, and be blessed by her influence. She taught me how to make pies, and think things through, she taught me to be a good listener , and let me hang around her kids and eat tomatoes and cucumbers straight out of the garden. She listened to my silly young girl talk, and was patient with me and showed me so many homemaking things. I love her so much, she was like a 2nd mama to me. She always lived the gospel, and showed me how to be a real person, and let me be real in her home. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, Sister Esplin’s influence was far reaching, and eternal, and I will be forever grateful for her, and who she was, and how she was.
