PAUL – Aliza Ann Bingham, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend to all she met, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 1, 2025, from complications of a valiant, lifelong battle with mitochondrial depletion disorder. Though her time on earth was short, her life was filled with love, light, and a spirit that touched every heart she encountered. Aliza was blessed to have spent the last days of her life encircled by the love of many friends and family members.

Aliza was born September 24, 2012, in Loveland, Colorado, to Chelsea and, the late, Andrew Bingham. She entered this world with a brightness in her eyes that never dimmed. Despite the challenges she faced each day, she radiated joy and strength, teaching us all what it means to live with courage. Her smile could light up a room, and her squeals of laughter and excitement were a gift to all who heard it.

Aliza had a unique way of connecting with people. She made everyone feel like they were her “favorite.” She was a constant reminder that life’s value is not measured in years, but in the love we share and the example we leave behind. She was our star, always shining, guiding us to find beauty, hope, and joy even in difficult times.

She is survived by her loving mother, Chelsea; siblings, Wyatt, Grace, William, and Lincoln; grandparents, MaryAnn and Dan Clayton and Joy and Kerry Bingham; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who adored her. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Bingham.

Her family wishes to thank the many doctors, nurses, therapists, teachers, and caregivers who tenderly cared for her and became part of her extended family.

A funeral service to celebrate her beautiful life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 6, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Paul Stake Center, located at 424 W. Ellis St., in Paul, with Bishop Chris James officiating. Burial will follow at Rupert Cemetery.

Friends and loved ones are invited to attend and honor her radiant spirit from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, September 5, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, and Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

Her absence fills us with heartbreaking joy as we take comfort in knowing that her fight is over and that she is free from pain and discomfort continuing to shine eternally.

"Some stars shine so brightly, they leave their light with us long after they’re gone."

The family will provide a live webcast of the Funeral Service, which will be available at the following link: https://youtu.be/G0IHpg8srmc.
