Parke Edward Carson

Oct. 13, 1949 - Sep. 6, 2025

Date of Service: Sep. 12, 2025

BURLEY – Parke Edward Carson, born October 13, 1949, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, at Parke View Care and Rehabilitation in Burley, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was the beloved son of Gordon and Mary Carson and the brother of Don Carson.

Parke married Gisele Booth in 1974, and together they adopted two sons, Alex and Ted. Parke and Gisele loved and cherished their boys with all of their hearts—the boys were their world. Family remained the center of Parke’s life, bringing him his greatest joy. After Gisele’s passing in 2003, Parke was later blessed to share his life with his second wife, Kaye Barrett, whom he married in 2008. She too preceded him in death in 2024.

Parke is survived by his sons, Alex Carson and Ted Carson; his brother, Don Carson, as well as several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy.

He found happiness in woodworking, gardening, reading, volunteer service, and family history. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Parke dedicated his life to his family and those he loved most.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served with honor and unwavering belief. Even in his final days, Parke’s trust in the Lord’s plan remained steady, bringing peace to him and those around him.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love of family, and the enduring example of his faith. Parke will be missed by many and loved forever.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 1p.m. Friday, September 12, at Pleasant View Cemetery, located at 1645 East 16th street in Burley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
