Service Program

RUPERT – Jennifer Ann Cutler, a 51-year-old resident of Rupert, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho.

Jennifer Ann Cutler was born November 16, 1973, in Vancouver, Washington to Clair R. and Judith Cutler. Jennifer joined a unique “yours, mine and ours” family blend between Clair and Judith’s children and those to be. From the beginning Jen was immediately overwhelmed with an immense love by her older siblings. Her sister Sabrina and brother Joaquin would race home to see who could get to her first, their beautiful baby sister.

Idaho became her next home, where she became Clair’s parents’ light of love in Preston. After the passing of her grandfather, O. R. Cutler, the family would move to Burley welcoming her younger siblings Clarissa and Orvid. At the age of 12, it was time to move to sunny Arizona where dad was offered a job with a group of Orthopaedics. Jen attended three different junior highs, which was not what her dad had planned. This did not matter in the long run, she adjusted well and was a beloved person in each of the junior high schools. Jen was a three-time Homecoming Queen(could have been 4 IYKYK) and played varsity tennis and basketball. She was the Spirit Commissioner for the student council, which was right on target for who she was.

Jennifer was blessed with the birth of her oldest son, Justin Rodriguez at an early age, but that did not stop her from continuing in her education and athletics. He became her biggest fan at the time and bright light.

After graduating from Chandler High School, (Go Wolves!) she attended Mesa Community College where she competed nationally in tennis. Jen would have various jobs, have a beautiful wedding, and welcome three additional children; Zachary, Gia, and Mathew, in the coming years. The way she gracefully stepped into the shoes of being a mother with such ease amazed her younger sister, as she still found time to assist younger siblings in growing up!

Jennifer and her youngest three children moved to the Burley-Rupert area where she would share herself in multiple roles in jobs across the area. Jen was one of the most valued waitresses at Stevo’s, where she encountered many who wanted her skills and personality to go work for them. Jen’s love for cooking led her to take a lead role in opening Robin’s Nest in Rupert, where she got to get creative in the kitchen. She loved this! As time went on, she wanted to spend more time with the growing children. Jennifer would go work at the Burley Best Western as the hospitality director. This is where she met Jason Weimer, who became a part of her and the children’s next chapter. Jennifer’s willingness to learn new things led her to join the team at First American Title Company. She liked this job for the new skills an knowledge she learned, along with the people. Eventually D.L. Evans Bank is where she landed and flourished in providing banking for the past eight years, as Vice President in Business Banking, assisting business customers with their various banking needs in the Mini-Cassia and Wood River area. She dedicated her time to various community events, including serving at multiple St. Nicholas church dinners. She was a member of the Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce, where Jen was the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Scramble six times. She was actively involved in the Mini-Cassia Community Chest and Meals and Wheels.

While Jen was actively involved and thrived in her job and community services, her whole heart and being belonged to her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She adores beyond measure each one of them. The brightest smile with eyes lighting up with love was when she mentioned any of their names. Jennifer enjoyed spending time and wanted as much time as she could with her kids and grandchildren, Damien and Xander, and at times really wouldn’t share them with anyone, but her immediate people. Jennifer will continue to be admired for her grace, kindness, and beauty throughout. She is unique and irreplaceable.

Jennifer is survived by her four children; Justin Rodriguez, Zack (Katie) Camarena, Gia (Sebastian) Camarena, and Mathew Camarena. Grandchildren; Damien Camarena and Xander Tena. Her mother Judith Cutler, siblings Riley Cutler, Cynthia Wren, Marian Issacson, Janet Rodenbaugh, Felicia Roach, Sabrina Williamson, Amy Cutler, Valencia Garcia, Clarissa Cutler Evans, and Orvid R. Cutler, III and many nieces and nephews she dearly loved. Preceding in death is her father, Clair Cutler, brothers Joaquin Garcia, and Joe Garcia.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, November 14, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, located at 802 F St., in Rupert, with The Reverend Father Camilo Garcia as Celebrant.

A vigil service will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, November 13, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6 p.m., at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley.

In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to a benefit account for her children and grandchildren at any branch of D.L. Evans Bank.
