From Jerry Hines:
I didn't know Roman personally, but my knowledge of his family assures me that he was a wonderful young man. Someone any parent would be proud to call their son. I am so saddened by their loss but know there will be a joyous reunion in their future. Best wishes and God Bless.
From Tracy Carrazco :
My deepest condolences to you and your family Maria. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
From Yolanda Garcia:
Maria, receive my heart felt condolences. I knew Roman when he went to West Minico and was a bright boy. He was in the six grade and the likeness of you. I couldn’t recognize him. It’s been so long, I gave it some thought and it was your son Roman. You became an RN and I became a teacher. God has plans for him Maria. Don’t worry about him. He will be okay. He is in the hands of the Great One. I know your heart is broken, but you will be okay. Our love to you and your family Reynaldo and Yolanda Garcia.
From Marcus Birkholz:
Roman was a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and a hand to hold through so many tough moments in life. The mark he made on my life and others’ is a testament to who he was as a person. He somehow effortlessly reminded me of the small, important things that make life worth living. Every story he told was full of laughter and always kept you engaged. He was a terrific man who cared for others, always. Roman, you will be deeply missed; you may be gone, but your memories and the love within them live on in all of us. I’m thankful I get to be one of those people who shared so many wonderful moments with you.
Rest in paradise.
From PrisVega:
My heart goes out to the Rivera family. Please know we are praying for all of your family.
From Payton MaGee:
I met Roman about 2 - 3 years ago through some other mutual friends and we became fast friends almost instantly. We had lots of connections and could always laugh at the same things. I am glad for the events we hosted where Roman could make it and make us all laugh and smile with his presence. He truly was a bright light in this world and would always find a way to stay positive. Our time together was short, but it’s some of the most impactful memories I have. Rest Easy Roman,
From Bianca Fairchild :
Roman was always such a sincere and kind friend. I truly always felt considered and appreciated when I was around him. He was such a funny and intelligent person, we will miss him so much.
From Braxten Hieb:
Roman was one of my first friends in Boise, along with the rest of our crew with Zack and Israel. He was always so welcoming and friendly, and I spent a lot of time at his house with him. I have many fond memories over the last decade with Roman, and I'm glad I got to know him rather well. I can't believe you're gone, the world is much worse off without you, man. Condolences to his family; I know how close he was with his parents and his little brother, and my heart hurts for them.
From Amanda T:
I’m so grateful to have met Roman 7 years ago at work. We had so many laughs and amazing conversations. He was truly able to connect with everyone in special ways and had a special relationship with everyone he interacted with. You were always making us laugh and you were just such a bright light in this world. You will be dearly missed.
From Mikaela Gray:
There aren’t words to express the heartbreak and tragedy this is. But I can confidently say that Roman was the brightest, wittiest and most caring soul I have ever come across. His love for his family was so unconditional that you could see the way he lit up when talking about them and it was always something I truly admired. I worked with Roman at Apple for 2 years and never once did he not make anyone around him laugh or smile. He was just that kind of person. Always caring about others and how he could help. I will forever miss seeing him and joking around with him or even just chatting about family. Dance hard and sing loud for us up there Roman.
From Jennie Kuoha:
I didn't get to know Roman. But, I know his mama Maria. Knowing her, I know this young man for sure was bright and loving. I pray for the Lords arms of comfort during this very sad and difficult part of life for the Rivera family and for all that knew Roman. Maria, my heart and thoughts are with you!
From Jonathan Rodriguez:
I met Roman a little over 2 years ago. A group of us went to LA and became the closest friends ever since. He was the nicest and most charismatic person I knew. Our random unplanned encounters around town always brought me joy. He knew how to make people happy when they are down and made sure people all felt included. I will always cherish our friendship. May he rest in peace. Love you Roman, you are missed deeply!
From Crystal Lopez:
I met Roman when I worked at Apple. There really was no introduction, we immediately clicked and became friends. It felt like we had always known each other. That’s who Roman was. He was someone that you just knew was a wonderful person inside and out. Someone you could trust. You were always in a good mood around him. And he always made me laugh. I never once thought I’d be thinking or speaking of him in past tense and it’s incredibly heartbreaking. We made jokes about going to red lobster for lobster fest and I regret that we never did. I’m devastated that you were taken too soon and I pray that we’ll meet again. I also pray for nothing but love, comfort and protection for your family during this difficult time.
Thank you Roman for letting me know you, I’ll miss you
From Darlene Hernandez ( Rockwell) :
Rivera family, sending you all my love and prayers. Romancito has always been such a sweet person. You raised an amazing young man. I'm glad I got to spend some time with you guys and him in California, to see how much he grew up and was still the same sweet kid, his smile and laugh was heart felt. I love you all so very much always.
From Caitlin B.:
I don’t have the right words to say just how effortless and treasured Roman was. He said what he was thinking, encouraged you to go after what you wanted, and lived in the moment. He genuinely wanted the best for you and we wanted the same for him. I miss his laugh, his quick wit, and his positive nature. If we met up outside of work and Roman was there too, I knew I was going to have a good time. All my love, he was gone too soon.
From Amy Winn:
So deeply sorry for your loss.

Roman was an exceptional human being, capable of radiating an abundance of positivity with one smile. I had the honor of meeting him several years ago, but from the get-go we develop a true friendship. He was capable of making deep connections with anyone and had that natural charm that seemed effortless. Roman was a supportive and encouraging friend, during our last conversations we talked about the importance of living each moment to the fullest; I cherish every memory made. Gracias Roman por todos los recuerdos, siempre estaras en nuetras mentes. Y para su familia mis mas sentido pesame.

To the Rivera Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I got to see him visit you many times at the hospital amiga, and I know how proud you were of your son. From Caden Chorlog:
Roman and I met at the Apple Store two years ago. I was walking through the mall with my girlfriend when he came right up to me and started talking. I remember that day so clearly. We connected right away, sharing our passions, and he told me all about the gaming PC he was building. His joy, excitement, and genuine care for others were contagious.
After that day, every time I passed the store, Roman made a point to say hi with the same warmth he showed from the start. Those short interactions grew into a real friendship and even inspired me to join him at Apple.
Roman became one of my closest friends at Apple. I will miss his quick, clever comebacks, his jokes that always pushed the line, and most of all the way he checked in on me. It is rare to meet someone who goes out of their way to get others talking about what they love. I wish I had listened even more. I miss you Roman, and we all do. It hurts because of how good you were.
From Matthew Giles:
I met Roman at work, and he quickly became a good friend. He was the kindest soul of any room he entered, and the life of any party he was at. Roman was the person who helped me to follow my dreams. He was an amazing friend and I will truly miss Roman.
From Chase Cooley:

From Rylee:
Roman, I’m so so grateful I got to know you. You were such a bright spirit at Apple and you made my day every day. I cherish the pickleball memories we made and I'm still upset you kicked my butt. I’m mad I won’t get the opportunity to beat you back. roman4ever
From McKay MacArach:
Roman was the kind of soul where you couldn’t help but smile around him. He was kind, he was practical and witty, and even when he wasn’t feeling his best, he never forgot to check in on you. Working with him at Apple was one of my favorite highlights while I was there, and we always talked shop about film and photography and being outdoors. You set the standard high, my friend, and you had a huge impact on so many people. Rest in power and grace.
From Dash Cramer:
Roman was someone who impacted my life while we worked together at Apple. His humor is what really drew me towards him as someone I could get along with. I will never forget what kind person he was inside and outside of work. Truly one of the best people to not only work with, but to call a friend. His legacy will be forever stamped in my life. Roman is my GOAT. Love you buddy!
From Todd:
Roman was one of the first individuals I met at Apple. From our first interaction his joy, humor and energy were intoxicating. He was a light and a joy always. Never was in a bad mood. And if he sensed you were off he’d try to brighten your spirits with a quick witted joke, or a conversation. He was an amazing individual. His loss is tragic and will be missed around the store and outside of it in our groups. Rest in power Roman.
From Deepshay Ray:
I’ll always cherish the memory of my friend Roman. His presence radiated warmth, positivity, and an infectious energy that made him feel like sunshine. We formed an unbreakable bond over our shared aspirations of becoming doctors. We spent countless hours discussing the future we envisioned, dreaming of the lives we wanted to build together. Roman possessed an effortless ability to make me laugh, even on the toughest days. His presence was like a gentle breeze, lifting everyone in the room with his positive energy.
The similarities we shared made our friendship feel rare, but it was his unwavering positivity, his unwavering encouragement, and his genuine heart that truly made it unforgettable. Roman wasn’t just a friend; he was the kind of person who leaves an indelible mark on your life. I’ll always miss him dearly, and he’ll forever reside in my heart.
I love you, brother.
From Manny :
Roman, I’m so happy I got to chat with you this past September at Carolina’s birthday party. Hearing how good you were doing made me so proud of person you were becoming. You were such a social butterfly that knew how to fly and get amazing conversations from anyone. Thank you for everything bro, the apple discounts, being a pong partner and an amazing friend who knew how to make the room glow.
From Erika Oldham :

From Jorge Martinez:
Roman and I met while I worked at Apple and was one of the nicest and most positive person that you could ever meet. He became a great and close friend. Everyone that he met or came across got treated by him so amazing and left such a big impression on us all. You are going to be missed so much and leave one of the biggest holes in this world.
From Tucker Peace:
Roman and I met working at Apple. He was a good friend and one of my groomsman at my wedding. The life of the party most would say. I am so sorry I can’t be there to give my condolences since I am deployed. You were one of my few closest friends… I am going to miss you.
