BURLEY – Jeffrey Edward Strunk, a 69-year-old resident of Burley, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Parke View Rehabilitation and Care Center in Burley.
Jeff was born November 5, 1956, in Jerome, Idaho, to Chalmer H. & Ada Elieen (White) Strunk. Jeff spent most of his life in Rupert, Idaho; he attended Minico High School and spent most of his career as a long-haul truck driver. He was passionate about drag racing (both as a driver and a spectator), motorcycles, working on classic trucks, and watching rodeos on the Cowboy Channel.
Jeff married Diane Lanell Strunk (Robins) and they spent 43 years together.
He is survived by his loving wife; his siblings, Vicky Garcia, Doug Strunk, Jeanna Still, Vance Strunk (Sherry), and Valerie Norskog (Tony); his children, Brad Matsen and Cody Douglas Strunk; ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Chalmer “JR” Strunk; his sister-in-law, Glenda Strunk; his brother-in-law, Ron Still; and his stepdaughter, Lorrie Salinas.
Memorial service details will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
