Wendy Twila Babbitt

Jun. 25, 1959 - Mar. 6, 2026

Date of Service: Mar. 28, 2026

CALDWELL – Wendy Twila Babbitt age 66, of Caldwell, Idaho, and formerly of Heyburn, Idaho, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on March 6, 2026.

She was born on June 25, 1959, in Emmett, Idaho, to Arthur and Twila (Pearson) Babbitt. Wendy was the youngest of 11 children and throughout her life she touched many hearts with her kindness and gentle spirit. Wendy was truly one of a kind. She had a soft heart, a caring nature, and a way of making everyone around her feel loved and valued. Her kindness was genuine and effortless, and her quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

After her father’s passing, Wendy moved to Heyburn, Idaho, where she spent many years lovingly caring for her beloved mother, making her comfort and happiness her life’s mission. Over the years, Wendy worked in several places where she formed many friendships, including Golden Corral, Desert View Care Center, Stinker Station, King’s, and Walmart. Wendy found joy in life’s simple treasures. She loved creating beautiful scrapbooks that preserved cherished memories that meant so much to her and her family. She loved the color purple and was drawn to the beauty and wonder of unicorns and carousels, the simple elegance of flowers, and the charm of collecting dolls. Music was another one of her great loves, and she spent many happy hours listening to her vinyl records and cassette tapes. She also enjoyed meaningful quotes and treasured time spent around the table playing card games with her family.

Family meant everything to Wendy. Her nieces and nephews were especially dear to her, and she took great pride and joy in each of them.

Wendy is survived by her siblings, Arla Hannah, Dale (Diana) Babbitt, Randy (JoAnn) Babbitt, Eileen Baldwin, Gene (Shirley) Babbitt, and Alan (Lori) Babbitt; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Twila (Pearson) Babbitt; brothers, Vernal Babbitt, Milton Babbitt, Lonnie Babbitt; and sister, Carolyn Brown.

Wendy’s gentle heart, kind spirit, and unconditional love left a lasting mark on all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave so freely and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of her family. Her life was quiet but a beautiful reminder that the greatest gift we can give one another is love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 28, at the West End Cemetery, located at 1574 E 4150 N, Buhl, Idaho.

I enjoyed so many wonderful years doing Wendy and Twila's hair. It was such a pleasure knowing Wendy and watching her car for her mom. She was a beautiful soul.
