ALBION – Bart Alvin Adams, 66, of Albion, Idaho, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

Bart was born March 27, 1960, in Burley, Idaho, to the late Robert Howard Adams and Jeneal Quarnstrom Adams. He spent most of his life in Albion. Some of his fondest childhood memories were made with his two brothers, Bobby and Bret Adams. During his teenage years many more memories were made when their cousin, Todd Adams, came to live with them. His younger years were spent riding horses, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and playing sports. Bart had a love for muscle cars and Harley Davidson bikes. The boys could always be found finding some kind of trouble. He definitely kept his parents on their toes.

At the age of 16, Bart met the love of his life, Pauline Ranae Robbins. They later married on September 9, 1983. They made their loving home in Albion. They were blessed with three children who were the joy of their life. Bart retired from the Burley Irrigation District after 45 years of hard work and dedication. Throughout those 45 years Bart made many friends. Bart will forever be loved and remembered as a jokester and the life of the party.

Bart is survived by his loving wife, Pauline; his children, Brian (Angie) Adams of Burley, Heidi (Jerry) Praegitzer of Oakley, and Aynsley (Bobbie) Adams of Albion; his mother, Jeneal Quarnstrom Adams; his five grandchildren, Heather Praegitzer, William Praegitzer III, Shayley Jo Adams, Braxton Adams, and Will Patterson; the newest addition, his first great-grandchild, Blaykli Praegitzer; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; father, Robert Adams; and brothers, Bobby and Bret Adams.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to family, friends and the community for compassion and support during their loss.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1350 E. 16th Street, in Burley. Burial will follow at the Mormon Cemetery in Albion.

From John and LaRae Lind:
LaRae and I met Bart when I started working at BID. He was loved and respected. He took the time to get to know both of us. He taught me how things worked at BID. He taught me how to operate equipment. He advised me with regards to motorcycles - that if I wanted to ride, I should get a Honda, and if I wanted to wrench, I should get a Harley. I ended up with both, and he was correct. I think about that advice when I ride. He was a private man, but he did open up to me on a few occasions. He gave me compassion and encouragement in my own grief. LaRae and I wish we would have known him longer, but we cherish our friendship. Rest in peace, Bart.
