We are so sorry to hear of the accident. Our son was one of the Tennessee locals who visited her in the hospital. We are sorry for this loss but feel a sense of relief knowing she was helped by a fellow Idahoan who has Cassia County ties so far from home. May she rest with the angels.

This news is very difficult for me, and my friends: Caminho Futete and Sawe, we met her when we worked at McCain food in Idaho, it was through the Blood family, they gave us as a reference for her to help us learn to swim. It was for a few days but it was wonderful because in a short time she showed us love and we loved her too. But God did his will. I just wish she had eternal rest at the right hand of the Heavenly Father.

I was a Japanese exchange student, and Trish became my American Mom from that day on. I always called her "Mom" without hesitation. She truly was my mom, and she always will be. I only lived with her for one year, but the impact she had on my life has lasted a lifetime. She was one of the strongest, brightest, and most lovable women I have ever known. She raised seven children while caring for her family, working, playing the piano, and going to college. She showed me what it looks like to live life to the fullest and to take responsibility for my own happiness. Today I have a family I love and two children of my own. I truly enjoy being a wife and a mother, and I owe so much of that to you, Mom. You taught me that family can be one of the happiest places on earth. She was someone I always admired and looked up to because she could, and did, everything! From chaperoning band trips to helping her kids baseball teams, to catering and sewing and swimming & lifeguard lessons and later on being such a great Grandma hosting her grandkids for their special days with her, and the list of wonderful things she did could go on and on. She never stopped serving or helping or smiling or loving her life, especially with her eternal companion, Rick and her family. Trish was my first boss, and I don't think she ever realized just how much she influenced my life. She trained me as a lifeguard and swim instructor, and through that I discovered how much I loved teaching. Because of her, I ended up becoming a teacher during the school year and I still help manage the Burley pool where I first met her in the summers. I'm so grateful for everything she taught me, both in and out of the pool. She will be so missed.
